How does onboarding work?

After signing up, you'll create your first Workspace and give it a name — this is where all your budgets and expenses live. You'll then choose whether to start with a preset (common categories like Food, Transport, and Bills already set up) or start from scratch and build your own categories from zero.

What's the difference between a preset and starting from scratch?

A preset gives you a ready-made set of common budget categories so you can start tracking immediately. Starting from scratch means an empty Workspace — ideal if you want full control over how your categories and budgets are structured from day one.

How do I add a budget?

Inside a Workspace, create a new one using 'New Budget' button — give it a name, set an amount, and choose how often it resets (e.g. monthly, weekly). You can create as many budgets as you need for different spending categories.

How do I add an expense?

Open the budget you want to log against and add a new expense with an amount and short note using the floating Add Button. It's immediately reflected in that budget's remaining balance and your overall spending overview.

Can I edit or delete a budget or expense later?

Yes. Every budget and expense can be edited or deleted at any time — nothing is locked in once it's created. Click delete button or just slide item to the left!

What are Workspaces and Invitations?

Workspaces let you separate your finances into contexts — personal, household, a shared trip, etc. Invitations let you invite others into a Workspace so you can track shared budgets and expenses together, like a household or a group of roommates.

Can I have more than one Workspace?

Yes, you can create multiple Workspaces and switch between them — useful for keeping personal and shared budgets separate.

Does it sync with my bank account?

Accepted Answer

No. This is intentionally manual — there's no bank syncing or auto-categorization. You log budgets and expenses yourself, which keeps the numbers fully in your control and free of guesswork from automated categorization.

Is my data private?

Yes. Only you can see your Workspace unless you invite someone else into it. Invited members only see the Workspace they've been added to.

Is there a paid or Pro version?

Accepted Answer

Yes there are, but there are no plans to paywall the core experience. Pro version includes features like Premium Analytics, Reports, and improved usage limitations and more.
